Bovine Burgers is a family-owned fast-casual restaurant that is crazy passionate about creating the best damn burger you’ve ever had.  And what’s more, we give our guests the best experience they’ve had getting it. Convenient, fun, welcoming, and a value for their hard-earned dollar.

The Bovine Burgers story began decades ago with our founders, Marc and Lisa Warner, simply doing what they love to do—serving up incredible homemade food and drinks to family and friends, creating an atmosphere that makes our guests feel welcome and at home. Marc’s homemade burgers, made from his blend of high-quality meat he ground himself into a mixture, became the stuff of legend. 

Marc and Lisa come by their sense of hospitality naturally. It is simply a part of who they are and have always been. It was after hosting many a backyard BBQ that friends started “joking” that Marc and Lisa should open a place that serves burgers and lemon meringue pie. It was not long before the Bovine Burgers dream was born…

Find A Need and Fill It

Marc is a seasoned marketing professional with a strong background in developing successful marketing and branding strategies for major corporations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard and an MFA in Film and Television from NYU. Marc has held multiple executive positions throughout his career, including Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing. He has applied his experience primarily to the business’s marketing, financing, and technical aspects, contributing to the success he and his wife, Lisa, have achieved with Bovine Burgers.

Lisa, a clinical social worker who worked in a local school district, is accomplished in her own right. Her talent for her work even earned her a grant to develop a special program for at-risk high school students. Lisa was not only a key contributor to the grant application process, but she was also the co-founder of the program and has since managed it with acute precision. Her dual experience makes her ideal for managing both the operational and human resources of Bovine Burgers.

Bovine Burgers franchisees will be the benefactors of Marc and Lisa’s vast scope of experience when they work directly with the two accomplished founders throughout their franchise journey.

The birth of Bovine Burgers can be attributed to the common business mantra “Find a Need and Fill It.” Before they were married, the Warners lived in large cities—Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Syracuse, and NYC—places that, by virtue of their dense populations, boast a diverse landscape of culinary options. These places are home to some of the world’s finest culinary institutions, let alone an abundance of widely celebrated burger joints.

When they moved to the mostly suburban and rural area of Jamesburg/Monroe Township in New Jersey, the restaurant options were the most limited in their collective lives. Not the least of which was a quality burger joint.  When they decided to open Bovine Burgers, they intentionally chose a location in the center of a “burger desert” with no burger joints within a five-mile radius.

The Warners love building and creating things. This was an opportunity to build a brand from scratch and create a legacy they could be proud of and pass on.
It is our goal at Bovine Burgers to create something bigger than ourselves—the way we want it to be. We believe that when we work together on behalf of something beyond ourselves, limits do not exist.

When you walk into Bovine Burgers, you enter an environment uniquely “us.”  We have an industrial rustic look that is also warm and inviting. From the locally sourced barn wood used in our decor to the Jersey-inspired names of our menu items, such as the “You Guys” and “The 8A Burger”, we show our pride in our Jersey roots. Our vibe is also a bit western, with burger names like the “Urban Cowboy,” “The Branding Iron,” and the Urban Cowboy’s big brother, “The Trailboss Ron.”  We serve up cow puns a-plenty. We’re severe yet irreverent.  We take our job of being the ultimate in hospitality very seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Off-Site Management: We also provide tech solutions for efficient employee scheduling and remote management of lights, HVAC, and audio.

Security and Monitoring: Utilizes remote monitoring of walk-in cooler temperatures and a camera management service provider for enhanced security.

Live Chat Support: We provide the software for real-time customer engagement on the website.
